Sheree is a passionate advocate for ending violence against women and girls. She is a powerful storyteller and a living example that life after abuse is possible. Sheree is a valuable resource for individuals and organisations wanting to understand the cycle of domestic violence and how best to support people who are experiencing abuse. Her bravery, perseverance and determination is truly awe-inspiring. Thank you Sheree for continuing to share your story in order to empower others.

Sheree Lucas Neto kindly agreed to come to Water Corporation and share her personal story as part of our activities around 16 Days in WA to Stop Violence Against Women. Sheree’s total honesty about her heartbreaking journey of surviving family and domestic violence was humbling to witness. Her story was thought provoking and compelling and I thoroughly applaud her organisation, I Am Sheree; which aims to raise awareness, provide resources to survivors, and challenge abusive behaviour that has been normalised. It was an honour to welcome Sheree to Water Corporation

Ruah Community Services has had the pleasure of working with Sheree since late 2018.
As an advocate of our My Story My Time advocacy program, Sheree has played a pivotal role in helping to raise awareness of family and domestic violence to transform the way the issue is understood and addressed in the community. Sheree adds a strong voice of lived experience and she has participated in workshops and presented to small and large groups as part of Ruah’s My Story My Time advocacy initiative.
A professional and compelling presenter, we have been impressed with Sheree’s attitude, confidence and storytelling abilities and that is reflected in the positive feedback we have received from others, including corporate organisations and not-for-profit agencies. We look forward to continuing to work with Sheree and supporting initiatives that drive change on this important health issue – to, ultimately, end family and domestic violence.

It's always a pleasure having Sheree speak at our classes here at Model Camp Australia. She is able to connect with our young impressionable models in a way that brings tears and joy to their hearts in one session.
Her raw educational approach allows students to explore their emotions and prepare themselves for any potential roadblocks they may face in the future.
I personally think it's such a refreshing idea to create a platform that educates the next generation, to tackle their everyday life with cautious open eyes. Also, speaking about taboo topics not only encourages others to participate in a conversation, but it also creates a support system for those that may be experiencing a similar position. It's very courageous for all parties.
I would highly recommend Sheree as a guest speaker for your event!
